It is not recommended that you use the gel pack whilst sleeping if you choose to use either hot or cold. This is because when you are asleep, you are not able to determine if there is any pain to the same extent as when you are awake. So for safety reasons, please do not wear when sleeping.

Luxury, Reusable Hot & Cold Gel pack
For a variety of conditions
We first designed the mask to treat Blepharitis, over time we found that hot & cold eye compresses help relieve the symptoms of Dry Eye Disease/Syndrome, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), Styes, Cysts, Conjunctivitis, Itchy Eyes, Tired Eyes, Puffy Eyes, Swollen Eyes, Dark Circles, Wrinkles, Migraines/Headaches and more. Also a great addition as a general sleeping/travel eye mask too.
Proven Comfort and Fit
Your Eye Mask has been designed with an elasticated strap that adjusts to all head sizes and most importantly helps to keep the eye mask in place. This means that the gel pack inside the mask moulds perfectly to the shape of the eyes/face, which leads to optimum relief. The comfort and fit ticks all the boxes, through its light and soft silk mask, with secure straps to keep the compress in place.
Optician Recommended and safe
You only get one set of eyes so make sure you opt for a gel pack that has a consistent temperature. Never, ever use a product that goes in the microwave because the heat is patchy, with some sections getting hotter than others. We use hot water for a consistent and constant warmth.
How does it work?
Blepharitis is caused by the glands between the eyelashes becoming blocked meaning the oily layer from the tear film is missing, which is what leads to the inflamed dry eyes. The gel pack stays heated for the recommended 10 minutes to gently warm the eyelids, which helps to release the blocked oil glands.
Hot Water Heated
For this gel pack you boil the kettle and leave it to settle in the hot water for a few minutes – meaning you get a stable and most importantly, safe temperature. Also, because the gel pack is heated in water it remains safe.

Quick Q&A
The ice pack can be washed with warm water with no detergents. The fabric strapping can be washed with soap and water.
Sadly we don't sell replacement gel packs.
No you can't. For some of our other gel packs we encourage heating with a microwave as a faster method for heating, but not for any products that touch the eyes. Microwaves can cause 'heat patches' - where one section of the pack is signficantly hotter than the others. The hot water method recommended with this eye mask heats a little slower but much more consistently. Safety first!
Yes it can. If you want to use it cold you can place it in the fridge to chill it down, or the freezer for a deeper and longer cold. Please be careful with the cold and only apply it if it is comfortable to do so.
As a company we adhere to FDA (USA) and MHRA (UK) guidelines for health and safety of hot and cold gel packs. However, each individual product is not reviewed by the government agencies. We have to make sure that our products meet the stringent manufacturing guidelines laid down by the government bodies and that's something that we take very seriously. It's important to note that we (and other organisations) do not sell 'FDA Approved' products - the phrasing isn't correct.
Once heated it will last around 15 mins, but we recommend you don't use it for more than 10 mins per application.
We recommend once per day, but if you want to use it more you should get clearance from your healthcare practitioner.
Yes! The gel packs can be used hundreds of times. We include two gel packs in the package in case one deterioates over time.
